The Shoppes at Sedgefield Crossing in Greensboro is expanding with several new retail developments anchored by a Lidl store. A 7,200-square-foot building for a salon suites business is under construction next to Lidl. Additionally, two retail buildings with spaces ranging from 1,500 to 9,600 square feet are being developed, expected to open in early 2025. A fourth retail building is also planned. Developers have received five letters of intent from potential tenants, including three national restaurants and two local businesses, focusing on restaurants, a wine store, and a med spa. The project aims to serve nearby residential areas like Adam’s Farm, Sedgefield, and Grandover, with a daily traffic count of approximately 18,500 vehicles on West Gate City Boulevard. The development will complement existing retail centers and the redevelopment of the nearby former Pilot Life Insurance Co. campus into luxury apartments. Developers are selecting tenants carefully to ensure they fit well with the community.
