This Summer I learned more than I would ever imagine as an intern. Thanks to the welcoming community at Meridian, I was able to piece together my understanding in the Commercial Real Estate realm. Throughout the summer, I shadowed Brokers on showings, navigated databases such as CoStar, LoopNet, and RLT, implemented marketing strategies, and researched markets and submarkets within the Triad. I efficiently learned the unique differences in retail, industrial, and developmental CRE. I was able to hunt and find leads for the Brokers, reach out to other professionals in the field of CRE, and gain better understanding of my future. The team here at Meridian is driven, hardworking, sociable, and dedicated to all facets of Commercial Real Estate. This summer as a Commercial Brokerage Summer Intern allowed me a glimpse into my future in the growing field of Commercial Real Estate. Not only have I expanded my network, I have truly discovered an intellect within this field that cannot be taught in a classroom. For the intangible knowledge I have learned this summer from the Meridian group, I am thankful.
